We appreciate your travel to Aiken - we know it's not the easiest location to get to, but we are excited to share with you this charming place we now call home.

 

The largest airport with the most available and reasonably priced flights is Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT). It is a relatively simple 2-hour drive from the airport to Aiken.

 

You can also fly to Columbia, South Carolina (CAE) or Augusta, Georgia (AGS). It is a 50 min drive from Columbia and a 30 min drive from Augusta, but flights are more limited and often more expensive. If you are staying at The Willcox Hotel, they may provide airport transfers from and to Augusta.

 

Other possible airports include Atlanta (ATL), Charleston (CHS), or Savannah Hilton Head (SAV). These are 2.5-3 hour drives with some highway and some country road driving. We would not recommend making these drives in the early morning or evening as roads may not be well lit.

 

Within Aiken, having a car is the best way to get around unless you are staying in the historic downtown, which is walkable. Taxis are available through Aiken Taxi Service (803) 642-9910. There are also a few drivers now on Lyft in the downtown area. There will be parking at the Welcome Party and Ceremony/Reception venues.
